My uni experience was great. It was quite tough for me when I first went there, but I adapted to the life style there after a few months. It is really a university that should be considered. It's plus point is, it serves as one of Britain's leading teaching and research universities.
It was quite difficult especially for international student like me. I was assisted by an agent that represents my university. She has been great and helpful throughout the application process. She shew me the requirements and things needed before flying to UK. My advice is always get help from the experts; leave it to them because they know better.
There are not much that I know for undergraduate studies especially for Journalism. There is one available for Journalism postgraduate studies. I was on myself for the tuition fees and our university allows us to pay our tuition fees in three installments.
My course is about writing for the media, newspapers etc. We learned about the etiquette in print writing, and it's really interesting to learn about the history of journalism especially in Britain. I remember I have classes every day, other than classes, I revised for at least an hour per day. They have been very helpful through out my studies there. I believed the course has equipped me with the knowledge and professionalism in writing.
They were great. I was always able to access to the information I needed using the university facilities. The library is fantastic. I didn't get along with my fellow classmates at first. But I learned to adapt to their culture and lifestyle, and I was doing fine. I stayed with my relatives there, so I saved on rental. I worked during my free time, and it's not very hard to get a part time job.
Yes, that's is for sure. My studies brought me into my working field at the moment. I am working with one of the newspaper agencies in Malaysia. I've been working for a year now and my experience of studying in Britain has changed me in many ways. For example, it corrected my English and improved my writing skills.
