Course description:
This course will help participants to learn about sophisticated management techniques and scientific principles in the breeding and training of racehorses. It covers: international thoroughbred industry, energy and nutrients, practical horse husbandry - to include yard routines on a rota basis, preventative medicine and veterinary techniques, equine exercise physiology and equine behaviour, training and developing the athletic horse.
Entry requirements:
Participants must have 3 A Levels grades at a BBC profile one should be a science and preferably Biology.
