Course description:
This course offers a unique opportunity to undergo a course of study, which complements the development of skills and competencies in the workplace. The course covers the level 1 modules such as: developing child ICT to support children's learning and development facilitating children's learning inclusive practice introduction to social policy developing the role of the early years or childcare professional. Level 2 modules: child protection research methods in early years managing sessions developing self and the reflective practitioner route specific (double module).
Entry requirements:
Students should have the following one of the requirements: BTEC ND in an appropriate area or AVCE/GNVQ in an appropriate vocational area. A GCE A-level profile which demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject or an adequate performance in more than one GCE subject. This profile is likely to be supported by GCSE grades at level A-C. Other related level 3 qualifications. Open College level 3 qualifications at 50% or above. NVQ level 3 in relevant vocational areas. Relevant work experience or professional qualifications.
